Continuing with another photo from the Rockfest on Sunday, the name of this solo artist escapes me I'm afraid, but the MC described him as having a "voice of an Angel" and he was not far wrong - the appearence really does give credence to the old saying: "never judge a book by it's cover". "njt"

Sunday and I was invited for lunch, to what I thought was a restaurant North of Johannesburg - RUSTIC THEATRE. Well, I got lunch, but it turned out that there was a Rockfest being hosted by a small independant radio station. Some great live bands and a mix of rock, blues and jazz made for a great afternoon of entertainment. As always, my camera was in the car, so I took the opportunity to grab a few photos (well 800+). Here is Cindy from the band ALTER IRVING, a great singer and a lovely Lady. If I may, I will run a few more photos this week, from this event, a mix of colour and mono, singers, guitarists and drummers. "njt"

Another of the bugs recently rescued from the swimming pool was this cricket yesterday - it seems that I am becoming the Florence Nightingale of drowning insects !! Instead of a standard macro, I thought that I would go with a mono version and see how well it is received. "njt"

Today I will be at Kyalami racetrack for our regional championship racing and hopefully there will not be too much of this happening. This is one of five photos I got over 3 seconds, last Saturday at Zwartkops Raceway near Pretoria - the rider (faller) is Armand Claasens, the bike a 1000cc Kawasaki ZX10R. "njt"
